We understand that plans change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to all members while ensuring our instructors and the studio can operate effectively. Please read this policy carefully before booking a class.

How to Cancel a Booking

You can cancel a class booking through any of the following methods:

  • Mobile App: Navigate to "My Bookings", select the class you wish to cancel, and tap "Cancel Booking"
  • Website: Please ask a member of Admin to cancel the booking.
  • Phone: Please call a member of Admin to cancel the booking.
  • Email: Send a cancellation request to info@homeofpilates.uk with your booking reference and the class details

Cancellations are processed immediately. You will receive a confirmation email once your cancellation has been processed. Please ensure you receive this confirmation before assuming your booking has been cancelled.

FULL CREDIT REFUND

More Than 24 Hours Before Class

If you cancel your booking more than 24 hours before the class start time, your credit will be fully returned to your account within minutes. You may use this credit to rebook any available class. This is our preferred cancellation window as it allows other members to take your spot.

NO CREDIT REFUND

Within 24 Hours of Class Start Time

Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled class start time will not receive a credit refund. This is because late cancellations make it difficult for us to fill the space, which impacts our instructors and other members on the waiting list. We appreciate your understanding.

FULL CREDIT FORFEITED

No-Show (Failure to Attend)

If you do not attend a class without prior cancellation, the credit for that booking will be forfeited in full. No exceptions will be made. If you know you cannot attend, please cancel as early as possible so someone on the waiting list can attend instead.

Subscription Cancellation

Monthly subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle. To cancel your subscription:

  • Log into your account and navigate to "My Subscriptions"
  • Select "Cancel Auto-Renewal" before your next billing date
  • Alternatively, email us at info@homeofpilates.uk with your cancellation request at least 3 days before your renewal date

Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period. You will not be refunded for the unused portion of your current month once payment has been taken.

If you wish to cancel and receive a pro-rata refund for exceptional circumstances (e.g., serious injury or illness), please contact us directly and we will review your request on a case-by-case basis.

Package Cancellation & Expiry

Class packages (5, 10, or 20 classes) are valid for a set period from the date of purchase:

  • 5 Class Package: Valid for 45 days from purchase
  • 10 Class Package: Valid for 70 days from purchase
  • 20 Class Package: Valid for 95 days from purchase
  • Intro Offer (3 classes): Valid for 14 days from purchase

Unused credits that expire at the end of the validity period are non-refundable and will not be rolled over. We recommend only purchasing packages you are confident you will use within the validity period.

Package purchases are generally non-refundable once bought. In exceptional circumstances, a partial refund for unused credits may be granted at our discretion. Please contact us to discuss your situation.

Class Cancellations by Home of Pilates

Occasionally, we may need to cancel a class due to circumstances such as instructor illness, insufficient enrolments, or unforeseen studio issues. In such cases:

  • We will notify you as early as possible by email and push notification
  • Your credit will be automatically returned to your account
  • You will be able to rebook any available class using the returned credit
  • If a class is permanently removed from the schedule and you have an unused package, we will work with you to ensure you can use your credits for other classes

We apologise for any inconvenience caused by class cancellations on our part and will always endeavour to provide as much notice as possible.

Exceptional Circumstances

We understand that genuine emergencies happen. If you are unable to cancel within the required window due to a medical emergency, serious illness, bereavement, or other significant life event, please contact us as soon as possible at info@homeofpilates.uk.

We will review exceptional circumstances requests on a case-by-case basis with compassion and fairness. Where possible, we will restore your credit or offer an alternative arrangement. We may ask for supporting documentation (e.g., a doctor's note) for medical-related requests.

Exceptional circumstances are considered at the sole discretion of Home of Pilates management.

Waiting List Policy

If you are on the waiting list for a class and a space becomes available:

  • You will be notified immediately by email and SMS
  • You will have 20 minutes to confirm your booking through the app or website
  • If you do not confirm within 20 minutes, the space will be offered to the next person on the waiting list
  • If you no longer wish to attend, you may remove yourself from the waiting list at any time via "My Bookings" in the app

Being on a waiting list does not guarantee a place in the class. We recommend booking an alternative class if one is available, and cancelling that booking if your waiting list space is confirmed.
